Here at Caleb Smiles, we want to be transparent about where we are spending the money that is donated to us! We want our community to be able to see the impact we are having on families and share in some of that joy!
November 2019- $2000+ donated amongst Gilda’s Club GR, Lincoln Developmental Center and Hospice of Michigan. Aided in financial contribution to fund ‘Caleb’s Cart’ at Lincoln Developmental Center- a mobile sensory cart filled with various sensory items used with students at LDC.
February 2022- sponsored families to attend low-sensory night at Civic Theater
2022- Families supported with meals while hospitalized. Aided with back to school wardrobe and tickets to movies. Gifted a child with an customizable audiobook/music/listening speaker for personal use.
September 2022- funded therapeutic riding lessons for one year for one child rider at Legacy Stables, and one child at the Equest Center.
2023- sensory play space provided to one child. multiple riders sponsored through the Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding.
2024- more riders sponsored through Equest Center! Community sensory friendly movie night.
2025- Bike trailer gifted. Playground set gifted.
Planning: instituting an ongoing scholarship with various programs that provide services to children with disabilities including; Legacy Stables, Cannonsburg Challenged Ski Association, etc. Rejuvenating the Caleb Smiles sensory cart at LDC.
